When God Gives You The Finger
Have you ever given someone a gesture with your finger that was meant to communicate ill will towards them? How about the thought that not only have you done this but so has God! Listen as Pastor Eric describes when God gives you the finger. Obviously not the one you imagine being given in traffic rather when Spirit of God points out your sin and the demands of His Holiness. The result is you having repented and the finger of God inscribing His word into your heart, changing it from a heart of stone into a heart of flesh.
Riding a bike for the first time is a memory that we all cherish. That moment you realize you are all on your own and the fear of not having your father's hand guiding you. In this message, Pastor Eric teaches that as children we show remarkable courage when we feel like our Father is with us and understanding that insecurity, fear, and chaos are the result of feeling the absence of our Father! He is always near us, ready to give us His Faithful Confidence.
Faith can be shown in a moment but faithfulness can only be displayed through consistency over a length of time! Are you faithful if it only lasts for an hour? A week? A month? A year? It is a sad commentary on society that we no longer seem to measure faithfulness in decades! This message challenges every believer to examine their lives in comparison with the lives of Noah, Abraham, and Daniel. Pastor Eric draws vivid pictures from Hebrew thought as well as our own culture to both encourage honest examination of our lives and inspire us towards faithfulness. The message finishes with a surprisingly fresh look at Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit" says the LORD.
John and Joi Dang share their testimony of how Jesus transformed their lives and made them a vital part of the LCM family. Taking them from an unknown future to a known of promises fulfilled. Listen as they recount their early years in the faith and victories over obstacles.
Beauxs with Bows
When you think of the sport of Archery, what best comes to mind? The arrow hitting the bullseye or skillfulness of the Archer? There is one component that is the most overlooked, the Bow. Pastor Wade teaches on how we are to be a Bow in the hands of God. Sending out those He has entrusted to us and forsaking all glory for ourselves. Are you focused on being a bow in the hands of a warrior or taking credit for what the Archer and arrow accomplish?
Redeeming the Time
In a special message from Brother Curtis Carter, we learn from his personal life how to redeem lost time and make the most of every opportunity. He walks us through common stages of Christianity and challenges us continually be moving forward. Are you stuck in what he calls the Message stage, content to just receive the Word? Or are you ready to get moving in the Mission God has for you and bring it to completion?
Tribulation Events "The Consequence of Thoughts"
In the fourth and final sermon in our Eschatology series, Pastor Eric teaches on who is appointed for Tribulation and the role it plays in our lives, both today, and in the End Times. Do your End Time views produce an escape mentality leading to a desire for something other than what scripture says? The true Bride of Christ is spotless and radiant because she has been refined by fire and is able to withstand all of hell’s fury.
Dialing In Discernment
Discernment is the ability to distinguish between good and evil. Without it, we remain immature and unable know or do God's will. Spencer McLain preaches his first message at LCM sharing with us his insight into how God's word is able to dial in our discernment and enable us to become mature and free of hindrances.
Judgement to Come - Consequences of Accountability
In this third installment of our Eschatology Series, Pastor Matt elucidates the weightiness of the final judgment to come. The Judgment Seat of Christ for the believer and the Great White Throne judgment for the non believer should produce in us the cry from our hearts for the need of a mediator or Savior. May we invite God's judgment now so that we may find His favor in that day.
Put Your Clothes On
Getting ready for an important engagement requires wearing the proper attire. Nik Arezina inspires us with a word about living in the purpose God has made us, resulting in being clothed with righteous deeds. Are you properly clothed? Do you know your purpose? This message will challenge you to seek the Lord until you find surety in your purpose.
